Joint Annual Conference 2007
Location |
Brunstad, Norway |
The new Interreg IVB North Sea Region Programme is launched! The Joint Annual Conference 2007 was held in Brunstad, Norway, on the 20-22 of June. The 500 participants took part in a programme, which featured representatives from the Norwegian Government, the European Commission as well as the private sector and educational institutions. During the event the new programme was formally launched by a representative of the Danish Managing Authority. Involving many sectors of society The wide range of stakeholders represented in the plenary sessions showed the secretariat´s interest in involving many sectors of society in the early stages of the new programme. This is done to secure relevant projects that display policy level thinking and long lasting and tangible effects. The application procedure The second day of the programme included a short plenary session with speakers from the secretariat staff, with a focus on project application, project finance and communications. It was followed by seminars in which the participants could take part in discussions and presentations focused on specific aspects of the programme. Please find more information about the application procedure here. Partner Search and Project Ideas The much appreciated and well visited Partner Search Forum made it possible for interested parties to come together to discuss and brain-storm around potential future projects. Project ideas for the new programme period can be found on the programme website and in the Project Idea Book, which is updated before any major programme event. The Project Idea Book for the Annual Conference 2007 held 116 ideas. You can find more information on project ideas here. Video coverage The Annual Conference was covered by a film team, who put together summarizing videos after each day of the event. They also made a short summary of the event as a whole. The videos are approximately 10, 7 and 3 minutes respectively and give a quick insight and overview as to what the topics covered at the event.
