Yes. It is possible. But Lead Partners should think carefully about the extent to which the consultant should be given budgetary authorisation to carry out the financial administration, including applying for adjustments of the project budget and in particular, whether it should be possible for the consultant to ask for the allocation of more money to the budget line for 'External experts and consultants'. There is a potential conflict of interest here. It is not always a good idea to let the fox into the henhouse!
