Waterways for Growth Final Conference

Description
The main conference day is Sept 27th. We will be holding a half day conference looking at the work carried out in Waterways for Growth and discussing the preliminary draft of the Framework for sustainable development of inland waterways that we've been working towards. In the afternoon we'll be visiting the Falkirk Wheel to look at this great example of waterside tourist development. Later we'll visit various parts of 'The Helix' site near Falkirk to look at how this huge area has been and is being developed into a major location for waterside recreation, business development and tourism - and is being used as a way of rejuvinating the area. |
