The NS FRITS partners are delighted to announce that the NS FRITS Conference will take place on Wednesday 23rd November 2011, in Brussels. The NS FRITS project aims to improve accessibility, contribute to sustainable economic growth and improve the quality of life and job opportunities for people living and working in the North Sea Region (NSR). The conference will provide an opportunity for delegates to discuss how NS FRITS is: - Helping to address issues including the accessibility of the NSR
- Improving congestion and freight volumes
- Reducing security threats to drivers
- Reducing carbon emissions.
The conference will also address how such improvements can help the economy and support the logistics and transport sector. Plus, the conference will allow the NS FRITS partnership to share their thoughts on the future of innovation in the road freight industry. The event will incorporate keynote speakers from across the public and private sector including Diana Wallis, MEP and Vice President of the European Parliament (pictured right) and Christian Byrith, Interreg IVB NSR Programme Secretariat. There will be an opportunity to see the NS FRITS system demonstrated, experience lively panel debates, Q&A sessions and network with fellow delegates. To view the seminar agenda please click here.
