The POWER cluster Conference 2011 in Bremerhaven will showcase the achievements of the network over the last three years, and will provide a North Sea perspective on key issues of offshore wind energy, with a focus on:

1 - Social acceptance: Communicating the benefits of offshore wind energy to the public

2 - Business: Creating a business platform to foster offshore wind development in the North Sea Region

3 - Skills: Adapting and preparing the North Sea Region workforce to the needs of offshore wind energy

The POWER cluster conference presents a great opportunity for politicians, decision makers, experts and stakeholders of the offshore wind energy sector to network, exchange knowledge and discuss opportunities and challenges in the North Sea Region - now and in the future. The conference will take place at the Klimahaus Bremerhaven and will include an excursion offering full insight to the complete offshore wind energy supply chain located at Bremerhaven.
