Our after dinner speaker is Dr Tom Pickerell, Technical Director at Seafish, the UK authority for seafood.

Key note speakers on the conference day itself are:

• Mrs Mariëtte de Visser (Alderman of Municipality of De Marne, Lead Beneficiary of North Sea Fish)

• Mr Jonathan Banks (Jonathan Banks Associates Ltd) - One extra portion: can we help consumers to eat more fish?

• Mrs Olga van der Valk  (Wageningen University) - Sustainable fisheries governance: it is all about cooperation.

• Mr Gerard van Keken (independent  researcher/consultant) - Re'FISH'ited: Place branding and place making for fishing communities.

• Mrs Stephanie Maes (Coordinator of Fisheries Local Action Group) -  Add value to the market for fish

• Mr Mike Mitchell (Technical and Corporate Social Responsibility Director at Young's Seafood Ltd., UK) -  Seafood Processing on the Humber Bank

We will also present some of the results from the North Sea Fish project and then transport you to the Humber Seafood Summit (if required) which is taking place on 18 September 2014 (seperate registration - no later than August 30).
