On December 10th 2013 the Interreg IVB project Biochar: climate saving soils will hold its concluding conference in Groningen, the Netherlands. 

Over the last four years the partners have undertaken extensive research into the effects of biochar on crop yield and its influence on many processes that are taking place in the soil, on its effect on the biology in the soil, on the possibilities of biochar to sequester carbon on a large scale and many other interesting topics related to biochar.

Now these partners will share their knowledge and insights with small and medium enterprises, farmers, policy makers and the scientific community.
