ACCSEAS continues to explore specific elements of IMO’s emerging e-Navigation strategy and their applicability to the North Sea Region (NSR). In particular, the development of Maritime Service Portfolios for the region is investigated, together with its supporting concept of Route Topology Modelling, both of which aim at promoting accessibility throughout the North Sea Region. ACCSEAS also continues to explore and develop a test-bed of specific e-Navigation services in the North Sea Region to assist the mariner in taking safe and effective decisions.
