Steering Committee meeting No. 7 was held 29-30 November in Hamburg, Germany. At the meeting, the Steering Committee decided about the applications received under the 7th Call for Applications.

Decisions from SC 7
A total of 13 applications were received under the 7th Call, among them eleven full applications and two cluster applications.

The Steering Committee approved seven applications: five full applications and two cluster applications.

All Lead Beneficiaries will be informed of the decision of the Steering Committee by mail. The approved projects will be made public subsequent to the information to the projects.

Prior to the Call, approximately 90 per cent of the funding available had been allocated to 53 projects, including three cluster projects. After the 7th Call, approximately 98% of the funding has been allocated to 60 projects, of which 5 are cluster projects.

Status of funding allocation
Priority 1 and 2 are close to fully allocated and priority 4 is slightly over allocated. Funding for full projects only remain in priority 3.

Lead Beneficiary Seminar
A Lead Beneficiary Seminar for the approved projects is planned for spring 2012. More details to come.

8th Call for Applications
The 8th Call for Applications will be open in early spring 2012. More information will be made available on the Programme website in good time before the opening of the Call.

It is likely that the 8th Call for Applications will be open to full projects under priority 3 only, with a limited scope for cluster projects under priority 1 and 3.
