Adaptation to Climate Change requires a whole new way of cross-sectoral and cross border thinking. Civil servants and scientists have spent the last couple of years researching the changes policies can make to help speed up the process. As a result, the blue book of climate proofing is on its way! On the 8th of March the Climate Proof Areas Team presented its policy recommendations to the EU, lead by Frank Ahlhorn of the University of Oldenburg. The sustainable Development Group was very pleased with the presentation and have agreed to take the blue book one step further! The final texts are being reviewed by the EU commission as we speak.
