On Tuesday 16 November the multi terminal in Falköping got connected to the main Swedish rail network. First out is the timber of StoraEnso. The week before over 100 people gathered in the port area of Gothenburg to discuss where a goods terminal should be located and how to implement the RAILPORT system as promoted by the Port of Göteborg. 50% of the container transport to and from the port is realised by rail.
