Steering Committee meeting No 5 was held 2-3 June in Gent, Belgium. The meeting refers to applications received under the fifth Call for Applications, which ran in March and first week of April 2010.

26 applications were received under the fifth call, 17 full applications and nine applications for extensions.

Prior to the call, approximately 70 per cent of the funding available was allocated to 39 projects.

Decisions from the SC 5
The Steering Committee decided to approve 15 applications, seven full applications and eight applications for extensions.

All Lead Beneficiaries will be informed of the decision of the Steering Committee by mail. The approved projects will be made public subsequent to the information to the projects.

Lead Beneficiary Seminar
A Lead Beneficiary Seminar for the approved projects is planned for autumn 2010. More details to come.

Next Call for Application
The sixth Call for Applications is postponed until further notice.

Any decision to open the next Call for Applications will be taken by the Monitoring Committee. Information regarding this will be made available on the Programme website in good time before the opening of the call.
