The Secretariat has received 26 project ideas for pre-assessment in preparation for the upcoming fifth Call for Applications.

It is the highest number of pre-assessments received in preparation for a Call for Applications under the current Programme.

Antwerp Seminar
Many of the submitted ideas were presented and given consultations at the recent Project Development Seminar in Antwerp, Belgium.

The seminar was well received and evaluation shows that there is a clear connection between viable project applications and project ideas which have gone through pre-assessment.

Feedback before 5th call opening
The Secretariat will provide feedback on the ideas submitted before the opening of the 5th Call for Applications on 1 March, 2010.

6th Call for Applications
There are no decisions taken on future calls for applications at this time. It is the Monitoring Committee of the Programme which will take decisions related to future calls for applications.

The next committee meeting will take place 14-15 April in Groningen, NL. Decisions from this meeting will be posted on the Programme website.
