At Monitoring Committee meeting No 4, 25-26 February in Karlstad, it was decided to postpone the fifth Call for Applications until further notice.

Please note - The decision has no implications for the ongoing fourth Call for Applications.

The exact dates for the fifth Call will be decided by the Programme Committees. The Call will be announced well in time. It is expected that the fifth Call will be postponed until 2010.

Background to decision
28 projects have been approved and 51 per cent of the ERDF available have been committed already after three Calls for Applications. The Monitoring Committee stated this a sign of the "tremendous success" of the Programme.

In order to build on the success for the future and maximise outcomes and impact of the Programme, it was decided that progress to date should be assessed and further discussed. Based on the discussions a decision on how to proceed with the fifth Call will be taken. More information will follow.
