During Steering Committee No 1 new information was presented regarding Private Sector Participation in projects under the IVB North Sea Region Programme. As a result of this Fact Sheet No 7 is temporarily suspended.

A revised version of this document will be posted on the website and included in the Fact Sheet Folder as soon as the issue of Private Sector Participation is resolved. 

At present, projects which include Private Sector Participation can only receive conditional approval, subject to the private sector issue being resolved. The Secretariat is in contact with the European Commission on the subject and is working to find a viable and effective solution to the issue.

The issue of Private Sector Participation does not affect the upcoming second Call for Applications or issues related to this. The call will open as planned on Monday 18 of February and close on Monday 17 of March.
