The North Sea Programme project Forum Skagerrak II has mapped shipwrecks along parts of the coasts of Sweden, Denmark and Norway. The project is led by Västra Götalandsregionen in Sweden. The wrecked vessels present a growing and potentially great environmental hazard, because they are leaking oil and other bio-hazardous substances into the sea.
The project received national news coverage in Sweden today. Click here to visit the SVT website and access the news clip.
