The Secretariat invites scientists, project managers and practitioners to present their most recent findings and ideas in a Call for Papers. The deadline for submissions has been extended until 22 April.

In cooperation with the Öresund-Kattegat-Skagerrak Programme, the North Sea Region Programme will organise a Maritime Conference on 27-28 May in Gothenburg, Sweden. Registration is now open.

The Fourth Call for Applications is now closed. A total of 18 full applications and three applications for extension have been submitted to the Secretariat.

The Kattegat/Skagerrak Secretariat is looking to recruit a temporary Head of Secretariat and a temporary Project Economy Coordinator.

Registration for the Annual Conference and General Assembly 2009 of the North Sea Region Programme and the North Sea Commission is now open. The event will take place 24-26 June in Egmond aan Zee/Haarlem, the Netherlands.

The North Sea Region Programme 2007-2013 logo in different versions is now available for download in the EPS format in the Document Library Section of the Programme website.

In line with the changes to the Operational Programme approved by the European Commission, the Monitoring Committee has approved changes to the Fact Sheet on Public-Private Partnerships.

At Monitoring Committee meeting No 4, 25-26 February in Karlstad, it was decided to postpone the fifth Call for Applications until further notice.

The fourth Call for Applications under the North Sea Region Programme 2007-2013 is now open. The Call will run until and including Monday 30 March 2009.

A template of the new contract to be issued to all approved projects under the 2007-2013 Programme is now available.

It is now possible to register Project Ideas to be published in the Project Idea Book for the Annual Conference 2009. The registration deadline is 23 April 2009.

A new section presenting projects under the North Sea Region Programme 2007-2013 is now online. The section will serve as an interactive platform for projects to communicate their activities and results.

The revised Fact Sheet No 13 on Control and Reporting is now available in the Document Library.

The presentations from Lead Beneficiary Seminar No 2, which was held on 4 and 5 February in Lübeck, are now available for download.

Short videos about key concepts of the North Sea Region Programme and its projects - transnationality, political backing and partnership considerations - are now available online.

The Interact Office in Bratislava is looking to recruit a Communications Manager. Application deadline is 16 February.

A draft PDF version of the new application form for the 4th Call is now available online. It will provide applicants with the opportunity to learn about the new form before the opening of the Call on 2 March.

The first pre-assessment has been submitted via the new online form on the NSRP website. Deadline for handing in project ideas for pre-assessment is 6 February. The fourth Call for Applications will open 2 March.

Interreg IVA Øresund/Kattegat/Skagerrak is looking to recruit a new staff member. Application deadline is 11 of February. The vacancy announcement is available on the Interreg IVA Øresund website.
